My name is Bill Hazen. I am the owner and builder of Creekside Cabin. During the summer months when I was teen ager my parents, sister, and I stayed in a one room, no water, no bath room cottage on the Eintracht Singing Society pinic grounds. The Picnic Grounds is located on the Neshannock Creek about 3 miles down stream from the cabin. My days were spent swimming, fishing and playing in the the Neshannock Creek. Ever since those years it was my dream to build a log cabin on the Neshannock Creek. In October of 2000 I did it. The cabin is not big. It is only 20' by 28'. But it has all the essentials you will need. Bill
On the first floor of the cabin is a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom. The kitchen is full equiped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower. There are three singles beds up in the loft. There is a wood burning stove in the living area. Heat is from electric baseboard. The cabin has TV, via Dish Network with Pittsburgh local stations. There is no wifi or telephone. Cell reception is iffy. There is a Bose radio, a stereo system capable of playing CDs. A DVD player is available for playing movies. The cabin has two decks. One in the front is the smaller of the two. The back deck is bigger and overlooks the Neshannock Creek.
